Full Description: The Tasmanian Copper & Metal Art Gallery has
been in operation for over twenty years,
supplying unique styles in metals worldwide.
Freestanding pieces, framed murals and large murals suitable for feature walls are all representative of their work. Exquisitely coloured butterflies, jewellery, statues and pots, abstracts design to Viking vessels, land and sea scapes, zodiacs and many other subjects.
The work also adorns the walls of many Australian hotels and commercial and private buildings.
The work also selected for exhibition in the Bicentennial Art Exhibition as St Paul's College in Brisbane, alongside works by such Australian artists as Pro Hart, Sydney Nolan, John Glover and Arthur Boyd.
The original artist Mirek Marik has passed on his skills and knowledge to his son Tom and brother Vlad, who will continue the family history.

Info: Our workshop and showroom are situated at Carrick with the product handmade on the premises. Each item is free cut from a variety of metals such as copper, brass, steel and chrome and then hand shaped, beaten and coloured using special based paint which is baked onto the surface. The whole product is then coated with a clear finish for protection, producing a very colourful and decorative wall hanging.
